photo by Joe Navas @joeinkRose Seccareccia is a multidisciplinary artist and native New Yorker with a BFA in printmaking and painting from the Rhode Island School of Design (2014). Across textile, painting, printmaking and drawing Rose explores the human internal landscape with a focus on birth, grief, desire, memory, magic and prayer. Alongside her art making, Rose practices clinical social work in her Harlem community. She pulls from psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory to incorporate dreams, symbols, fairytales and myth into stitched, painted and printed conversations with unknown sacred worlds.
